Meet dr. sims

Dr. Deanna Sims received her M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 1995 and 1998, respectively. Her doctoral dissertation was entitled Adlerian Personality Priorities of Siblings of Individuals with Tourette Sydrome. 

While working on her doctorate, she received the Outstanding Graduate Student Scholarship Award. Dr. Sims graduated Cum laude with her B.S. degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1992. 

Dr. Sims is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and has been in private practice since 1999.
